Fairy Meadows stands right in front of Nanga Parbat, which at 8,126 m is one of the highest peaks in the world. We started our journey to the meadows while traveling over the Raikhot Bridge on the Karakoram Highway and reached the Tato village. We spent the night in our cottage and started our hike to the top of the meadows’ peak early morning on the next day. It is a five-kilometer track, which takes almost three to four hours of traveling. We had started the hike early in the morning so the weather was amazing and the visibility was excellent. We had our guide with us who took us along the path and we were able to reach the peak of Meadows in almost three and a half hours.

We took awe-aspiring pictures from the top of meadows, which become a highlight of our visit to the Asian part of the world. The hike to Nanga Parbat starts from the Meadows but it is only for the expert climbers.
